Today we had breakfast at the hotel, then drove to Waterfront Park, a large grassy field on the shore of the Ohio river. I have not heard the official count, but there were about 800 cars. It was a clear day, but became very hot with no shade on the show field. There is an elevated Interstate highway along the edge and most people ended up moving their chairs into the shade of the Interstate. The heat was oppressive, but there were lots of very nice cars, and people, to look at and talk to.

Excitement or heat exhaustion?

After the show, we went back to the hotel to cool off until it was time to eat. For dinner, we found the Troll Pub Under the Bridge. This is a cute restaurant/pub in the basement of an historic building, in the shadow of a highway bridge. It was very good and refreshing.
Tomorrow, Friday, we will do some more exploring and sightseeing around Louisville. Saturday, there is the British Bash, a British car show put on by the local British car show (today's show was a national show just for MGs), that we will attend.
