Today, we attended tech sessions in the morning- I learned about tuning, carbs and ignitions. Kathy learned about the famous Derby-Pie! For lunch, went to Frank's Meat and Produce. This is a small, neighborhood market with a counter in back where you order sandwiches to go. No tables to eat there so we took it back and ate in the lobby of the hotel. We had a corned beef sandwich and a salami sandwich, both with a huge stack of meat with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Both were very tasty and all for $3.50 each!
After lunch there were some more tech sessions to attend, then time for dinner. Tonight, there was a banquet for NAMGBR members - about 500 people - at the Crowne Plaza. It was buffet style and was surprisingly good. It was much better than the restaurant meal we had at the same hotel last night. After dinner, we visited with some friends from out of town before turning in.
