Gathering at Monte Sano State Park (we are the yellow Midget in the center!)
On June 3, 2011, Kat and I left for Madison, Alabama for a British and European car show and to visit some friends. It's a nice drive on back roads through Georgia and Alabama. After leaving Georgia, we went through Ft. Payne, AL., home of the music group Alabama. In fact, they are so proud of their local boys that they have a monument in a park with statues of the band as well as a large fan club building in town. Once we got to Madison, there was a group drive up to Monte Sano state park in the evening before a club sponsored cookout at a local British and European garage.
