The inspiration for this site came from a trip we took in 1998 to the 50^th anniversary party for the Spridget (Austin Healy Sprite and MG Midget) held at Lake of the Ozarks, MO.  We drove our Midget and posted comments and pictures on a forum so our family and friends could follow our trip.  But, it turned out many more people enjoyed following our trip than we expected.  Since that trip, we have been eagerly looking forward to the 50^th anniversary party for the MG Midget at Elkhart Lake, WI in July, 2011.  To make it easier to follow us, and to overcome some of the picture and video limitations of the forum, we decided to try this format.  We plan on not only posting comments and pictures, but also video of interesting sights along the way from our in car camera.  We plan on travelling the back roads, avoiding the Interstates as much as possible.
